Nokian Sets Start Date for Pompei

Paolo Pompei will assume the role of Nokian Tyres’ president and CEO on Jan. 1, 2025, replacing Jukka Moisio.

Pompei most recently served as president of Yokohama TWS. 

“I want to welcome Paolo Pompei to Nokian Tyres to lead it in its next phase of development,” says Jukka Hienonen, chair of Nokian Tyres’ board of directors.  

“He has delivered continuous growth and strong financial performance in his earlier positions. He also has a very strong international experience from the tire industry and a deep understanding of the markets in Central Europe and North America, which are the key growth markets for Nokian Tyres.”
